Often called “Red Rock Country” Sedona is a four seasons playground for the entire family. Here you will find amazing activity opportunities including archaeology, shopping, outdoor sports, or spiritual and metaphysical experiences. The picturesque city is surrounded by three red-rock monoliths named Coffeepot, Cathedral and Thunder Mountain, and on the north end of the city, you will find the stunning Oak Creek Canyon. If the Oak Creek Canyon is not large enough for you, take a short road trip to the Grand Canyon to see one of the nation’s most heralded natural wonders up close. Sedona has an abundance of groomed hiking and mountain biking that lead to high elevations, hug winding creeks and afford awesome views of distant vistas. Slide Rock, Red Rock and Dead Horse Ranch State Parks offer more than 700 acres of meadows, natural water slides and plenty of excellent spots for fishing and camping.
