Tri Lake Timbers is located on 113 acres and has access to 3 lakes, as well as Lake Superior. 80 acres of the property is part of the highest point in the area. The cabins have direct access to the major trail systems allowing for excellent ATV, snowmobile, and hiking experiences. Tri Lake Timbers also offers boat rentals. Families, couples, and singles alike can rent a variety of boats. Imagine enjoying a day on the lake with loved ones. The Northwoods Pontoon makes this possible by holding up to 10 adults and has an availability of up to 8 hours. Enjoy a cruise around the lake on a sunny day in one of the property’s rowboats, paddleboats, or canoes. Catch panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye on one of the available fishing boats. Fish cleaning facilities are located near the lake for convenient access. Other outdoor activities include horseshoes, volleyball, tetherball, and basketball. Relax in the gardens or let the kids burn off energy on the playground. After spending time in the great outdoors, enjoy the bar’s burgers and pizzas that will satisfy even the hungriest outdoorsman.

Partake in annual winter activities with the Kids Fishing Contest in February, and the chilly Polar Plunge in March. Warmer activities include Iron River Summerfest in June, a tasty Blueberry Festival in July, and the Bayfield County Fair that is also held in July. Autumn brings apples in Wisconsin; relish the annual Bayfield Applefest in October.
Nine cabins are available at the resort. All cabins include basic bedding and pillows, kitchenware, a microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and TV with a DVD player. The Bungalows, side-by-side cabins offering up to 8 beds, opens for deer hunting gun season. These cabins have a sun deck on the lakeside and large kitchens and showers. The homestead cabin is old-fashioned, down-home country style. In the living room guests can enjoy the gas stone fireplace. The bedrooms offer bunk beds and a master with two beds. This cabin is a family favorite. Revel in the character of the Chalet cabin. Diamond willow railings, a loft, a view of the lake, and the lake view deck make this cabin enchanting. An upper unit appropriately-named the Bunkhouse, and it’s lower level, the Grotto, are customer favorites. The two can be rented together or separately. The Miner’s Shacks has its own entry and parking. False lighting behind the windows gives this cozy cabin an illusive surrounding. For those who wish to be close to the restaurant, stay in the Loft – it’s located right above the bar/restaurant. Finally, Keepers offers a comfortable stay for two.
