Self-directed Retreats
Self-directed personal spiritual retreats are opportunities for an individual, couple or small group to experience a private retreat to refocus on growing your relationship with God in the beauty and peaceful quiet of Lake Junaluska. Spend time walking our trails, meditating in our gardens, in private devotions, journaling, reflecting and more. We will also provide a booklet with optional agendas, resources, and ideas for structuring your retreat. Personal spiritual retreats are offered on a space-available basis.
Cost is $97 per person, per night. Stay multiple nights!
Price includes lodging, boxed continental breakfast and a booklet to guide your retreat.
Self-directed retreats are offered Sundays–Thursdays throughout 2019, as space is available.
Guided Retreats
The pace of day to day living makes it difficult to attune ourselves to the rhythms of soul, the rhythms of the Sacred within and all around us. Participants in our two-night guided retreats enjoy the following program which blends group and one-on-one spiritual direction with ample time for reflection and renewal.
Cost is $279 per person.
Price includes 2 nights lodging, boxed continental breakfast on Tuesday and Wednesday, group centering session, evening prayer service, individual spiritual direction session, and a booklet to guide your retreat. (Extend your stay through Thursday for an additional $97.)

Group Centering Session
Monday night, 7-8:30 p.m.
This guided experience is designed to provide you with a transitional space between the worries of the world and the slower, deeper, and more natural flow of Spirit. While there will be some space and time to share with others, the focus of the group is to help each individual move into their own retreat time with a sense of purpose and spiritual connection.
Evening Prayer Service
Monday night, 8:30-9 p.m., Denman International Prayer Room, Lambuth Inn
In this guided time of prayer, you will be led in a brief contemplative service that emphasizes spiritual peace and rest. You are invited to leave the service in silence and keep silent until breakfast the following morning.
Individual Spiritual Direction Session
Session time and meeting place arranged at the Group Centering Session
In this one-on-one conversation with an ordained pastor or spiritual director, you will explore more deeply the retreat intentions you set for yourself at the opening group session and/or have a time to explore revelations you have received in the midst of your retreat.
Personal Retreat Time
Spend time walking our trails, meditating in our gardens, in private devotion, journaling, reflecting and more. We will also provide a booklet with optional agendas, resources and ideas for structuring your retreat.
