History

You could choose to see the Nez Perce Indian crossing where Chief Joseph and his people challenged the Snake River on their way to war and then ultimately to the Lapwai Indian Reservation in 1877. Enjoy the rock formations change to columnar basalt as you go north of Pittsburgh Landing and head to the confluence of the Salmon River. Take an adventure in the deepest canyon in North America.
