The Red Bank International Beer, Wine, and Food Fest is one of the top spring culinary events in New Jersey, and it will take place April 22 in the White Street Parking Lot. This year's event will feature 25 Red Bank restaurants serving cuisines from Korea, America, China, Italy, and more. From Italian Fried Calamari to London Broil, people will have little trouble finding foods to delight their taste buds. Those with a sweet tooth will love the selection of desserts such as Dutch Funnel Cake, Italian Zeppoli, and Nutella Mini Donuts. Attendees over 21 years old can purchase beers from renowned producers like Heineken and Newcastle. Oenophiles will find a variety of wines with vintages coming from as far away as Spain and Australia. A spectrum of musicians and groups will perform live throughout the event including genres such as Reggae, Irish Rock, and German Oompah. RH: This will be the 7th year.

 

RAL: How many annual attendees do you draw?

RH: Organizers expect between 16,000 and 20,000 attendees.

RH: The event has something for all ages.

 

RAL: What makes this event unique?  

RH: The international flavor. People will find a variety of foods and beverages from around the world.

 

RAL: Take me through a day at the event. What can I expect as an attendee?

RH: Live music on two stages, International Food, Beer & Wine, Unique Vendors.

 

RAL: Will there be any guest appearances?  

RH: There will be a variety of performing acts including Metalachi, The Weeklings, The Nerds, Remember Jones, Italian Street Band, Edelweiss Oompah Band, Atlantic Watch Pipes & Drums, Verdict Reggae, Colossal Street Jam, and more!

RH: 20 Red Bank Restaurants will be on-hand serving festival-style foods.

RH: It’s a fun family-friendly party!

RH: Absolutely, attendees end up patronizing many of the vendors and local businesses.

RH: Yes, funds benefit Red Bank RiverCenter, Booker Cancer Center, and Red Bank Regional High School.

 

RAL: Why should people come to your event?

RH: It’s a family-friendly, outdoor celebration of International food, music, wine, and beer! Red Banks eateries will be selling great food throughout the festival! International wines and beers will also be available for purchase. You’ll also be able to experience unique vendors, activities for kids, a petting zoo, as well as great live International and All American music on two stages! Admission is $5 for anyone over the age of 10. The event is a fundraiser for Red Bank RiverCenter & other local non-profit organizations.
