Travel to Beautiful National Harbor for this World Class Culinary Celebration

While the Maryland waterfront features an excellent collection of fun things to do, there is no better destination to launch a Maryland getaway than National Harbor. This waterfront district is home to more than 75 shops, 160 retailers, and a variety of live entertainment venues offering something for every traveler. The area is also a hotbed for artistic expression, and art enthusiasts will be enamored with public art displays including The Awakening and The Belvedere. Don’t miss the opportunity to take a ride on the Capital Wheel, which is a 180-foot tall observation wheel offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and monuments.

National Wine and Food Festival at National Harbor has been one of the leading food and beverage tasting events in the region for nearly a decade, and it will take place April 28-29 on the Waterfront in National Harbor. This year's event will introduce foodies to a variety of chefs and culinary pioneers from across the planet. Attendees will have the chance to sample offerings from some of the area’s top food providers such as Brother Jimmy’s BBQ, Hollywood Oyster Company, Bobby McKey’s Dueling Piano Bar, and more. The event will also feature more than 150 regional and international wines, beers, and spirits for all-you-care-to-taste sampling. If patrons find a vintage of wine they like, they can stop by the onsite wine store to purchase a bottle. People looking to learn about cooking, the culinary industry, and wine pairings can participate in a variety of workshops at the Drink.Eat.Relax Kitchen. Some of the featured presenters include Scott Drewno, Amy Brandewein, and more. Purchase of a VIP ticket includes special tastings and pairings, a VIP-only tasting glass, souvenirs, VIP washrooms, and more.
