Have a Berry Good Time at the Holly Berry House Folk Art Festival

With juried art from 165 artists and plenty of fine dining and music, this festival brings out the best of Colorado Springs. The festival will be held from September 14-16 and is sure to provide fun for your entire family, as well as art enthusiasts of all ages. ResortsandLodges had a chance to sit down with Kathryn Read, the Festival Coordinator, to learn more about this amazing event!

 

RAL: How long has the event been running?

KR: This year marks the 40th year of operation for this extraordinary event.

 

RAL: Who attends the festival?

KR: People come from all across the country! It’s a highly anticipated festival that is eagerly awaited by all who attend.

 

RAL: What demographic does your event attract?

KR: Everyone! Families and kids are welcome to enjoy all the attractions, and those with a fine eye of the arts will also enjoy all the crafts at the Holly Berry Folk Art Festival.

 

RAL: What makes the event unique?

KR: This event has 165 juried artists from across the United States, with a variety of exquisite fine art, an array of fine crafts, collectibles, and antiques!

 

RAL: What can attendees expect at the event?

KR: The event runs from September 14-16, and is in the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site in the beautiful Garden of the Gods Park. Not only will there be plenty of art from amazing juried artists, but there’s also going to be foot-stomping music, amazing food, and wonderful historic tours.
