Duvall Days Festival: A Family-Friendly Celebration of Duvall’s Unique Community Spirit

Perched on the banks of the Snoqualmie River, Duvall is a destination featuring beautiful natural vistas, family-friendly community events, and a variety of outdoor activities. Outdoor and exercise enthusiasts will love the city's proximity to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail Head. This trail system begins in Duvall and heads 32 miles south to Rattlesnake Lake. Along the way, people will see the area’s diverse vegetation, wildlife, and geographic features. The city is also home to a variety of quality restaurants. Food lovers will love sampling the local cuisine at Flavour Bistro, Red Pepper Pizzeria & Pasta, and The Duvall Grill and Taproom

The Duvall Days Festival has been a go-to event in the Snoqualmie Valley for nearly 60 years, and it will take place June 2-3 in downtown Duvall. This family-friendly extravaganza is a celebration of Duvall’s community spirit. The festivities begin with a big parade (Saturday) along Main Street in downtown, which will include local fire and rescue vehicles, floats, and a variety of groups and performers. After the parade, the entire main street is closed to vehicle traffic, and becomes a pedestrian mall. Here attendees can shop at a variety of local vendors, as well as watch and listen to live music and dance performances. Foodies can purchase a variety of meals and snacks from food vendors, and those over 21 can buy beer and libations at local restaurants and two beer gardens. Those attending with children can partake in the Kids Play Zones, which will include bouncy houses, a giant slide, games, activities, and more. The Saturday activities come to a close with a concert in McCormick Park followed by a spectacular fireworks show. Sunday’s festivities include The Riverview Education Foundation 5K and 10K runs and the ever popular Firefighters' Pancake Breakfast at the Duvall Fire House. ResortsandLodges.com interviewed Event Representative, NJ Shelsby, to learn more about this celebration of small town living.
