The Chicago Pizza Party is entering its second year of showcasing the best pizzas in the city, and it will take place February 10 at the Ravenswood Event Center. This year’s event will include more than 20 of the top pizza makers from the Chicago area. From slices of deep dish pizza with everything on it to slices of artisan thin crust pizza, attendees will have little trouble finding delicious pies to sample. After sampling the spectrum of pizzas, patrons will also have the opportunity to vote for the “Best Pie in Chi.” Those with a sweet tooth should head straight for the Rooftop Dessert Lounge, which features locally made sweet treats. Local beer, wine, and spirit producers will also be on hand serving up their creations. RAL: Tell me a little bit about the event.
DS: Chicago Pizza Party is Chicago's largest pizza festival featuring over 20 of the top pizza restaurants all battling it out for the title of the "Best Pie in Chi."
RAL: How long has the event been running?
DS: This is the second year.
RAL: How many annual participants do you draw?
DS: We expect more than 4,000 attendees between the two sessions of the event.
RAL: What demographic does your event attract? Children? Families? Couples?
DS: We have something for everyone. Our first session (1:00-5:00 pm) is for all ages and session two (6:00-10:00 pm) is 21 & up.
RAL: What makes this event unique?
DS: Chicago is a city famous for its pizzas. Our event spans three floors of the Ravenswood Event Center, each featuring pizza vendors, themed games, DJ’s, prizes, photo booths, and more!
RAL: Will there be any guest appearances?
DS: Yes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be on hand, and we have more to be announced closer to event time.

DS: We have three floors with over 20 pizza restaurants serving up their best, unique pizzas, plus the covered rooftop area featuring Italian style desserts.

DS: It is a chance for Chicago to come together for something that we are all incredibly passionate about - PIZZA! Also, it is a fun event that gives us something to look forward to in the dead of winter when no other events are going on.
