Though it has all the bells and whistles of being all-inclusive, Fern Resort also makes business meetings worthwhile. It has over 14,000 square feet of lakeside conference space including eight rooms and free wireless internet. Fern can comfortably host a group of 10 people all the way up to 300. Packages contain setups for day meetings with the appropriate equipment packed into the natural lit rooms, dinner meetings in dining rooms, and scheduled team activities featuring paintball and an amazing race to name a few. Even with all of those amenities, what sets Fern apart is the balance between focused work and relaxation. Unique to Fern Resort, it operates all year so guests can take advantage of the different opportunities that arise for each season. Most notably in the winter is the 1.5 kilometer ice skating trail and mini golf and axe throwing in the summers.

Getting there

Directions from Toronto area: take Highway 400 North to Highway 11 North (just north of Barrie), to Highway 12 South (at Orillia), to Rama Road. Left at Rama Road (you’ll see the Casino Rama signs). Before you reach the casino, turn left onto Fern Resort Road at the sign.
