The Kenai Peninsula, otherwise known as Alaska's playground, is host to a seemingly endless list of fun activities to do and sport to partake in. That includes Halibut fishing, of course! The friendly and knowledgeable staff will be more than happy to assist you plan out your expeditions, or any other kind of adventure you feel like going on! That includes, but is not limited to, ocean kayaking, white water rafting, or even trotting around a nearby national park on horseback. Whatever you feel like doing, Gwin's will do their best to facilitate it. Family, friends, and romantic partners; they're all welcome at Gwin's!

Gwin's Lodge was actually built from spruce logs harvested from the surrounding Chugach National Forest. Pat and Helen Gwin cut, hauled, and hand-peeled the logs themselves. They opened the lodge on January 1, 1952.
