Combing its boroughs from Bloomsbury to Westminster, we’ve selected establishments that may just rival Buckingham Palace. We certainly wouldn’t be surprised to see the Queen Mother herself at any of the choice locations on our list of Top 10 London Luxury Hotels. Set amongst the quietude of flourishing gardens in Hyde, St. James and Green Parks to name a few, the traveler finds solitude in the midst of metropolitan mayhem. However, the hotels still boast a few minutes’ trip to attractions such as the fashionable Bond and Regent Streets, the London Eye and Piccadilly Circus. Although we can think of just as many reasons to stay at our No. 6 Westminster hotel as the number in its name, for the sake of time we’ll only regale you with a few. The first being, of course, that 41 Hotel is the recipient of Trip Advisor’s Travelers’ Choice Award for 2009.

It’s not difficult to see why guests at 41 were impressed, but it is difficult to stop listing off all the reasons! Immediately you are greeted by 41’s signature colors of black and white paired with rich mahogany wall panels. In each of the 30 individual rooms, diverse blends of the contrasting black and white speak to the ingenuity and attention the hotel pays to every detail. The helpful concierge can direct you to a number of attractions on your list including Buckingham Palace, Royal Mews and Westminster Abbey. When you return, indulge in evening canapés as turndown service places your aromatherapy pillow of choice on your bed and floating candles in your bath. Or, spend the evening striking up conversation and sipping champagne in a plush leather chair with a leopard print pillow at the safari-themed Leopard Bar.

Flemings Mayfair Hotel complements its Georgian surroundings of Piccadilly with its own unique and tasteful interior design. Symmetry shines through the elegant paneled doors with a colorful half-moon window crowning the entrance to the fully-serviced apartments, and in the checkered headboards, artwork placement and arrangement of bed pillows in the hotel rooms. Ample space and windows create an airy and sunny environment where only contentment can abide. If you can leave the antique rose papered walls or the cream and blue hues of your serene suite, Flemings Mayfair’s high tea is a pleasure for your palate. When you’ve had your fill of clotted cream, scones and tea, mosey over to Piccadilly Circus. If the large TV screens, spouting fountains and iconic statue of the winged archer don’t inspire awe in you then we don’t know what will.
