The resort is nestled among mature oaks and pines on the shores of Boot Lake, one of the clearest in Minnesota. The lakes relatively undeveloped shoreline offers great fishing and paddling opportunities, and is ideal for water sports. Our large sand beach offers a perfect spot to relax and soak up the rays while the kids build a sand castle. The beach is secluded, flat, and is surrounded by gardens making it one of the popular spots on a hot summer day.

The Park Rapids area comes alive in the summer months with many coming to enjoy one of Minnesota’s best lake areas. There are many great golf courses, along with shopping and dining opportunities, to compliment a summer lake vacation. Itasca State Park, home of the headwaters of the mighty Mississippi river, is a short drive from our Park Rapids Resort. Here you will find 16 miles of paved bike trails along with many hiking trails for the outdoor enthusiast in your family.
