There are plenty of can’t miss historical sites across the state of Texas which makes planning your getaway a bit difficult; you may run out of time before you’ve seen all of the great landmarks. The Alamo was the site of one of the most notorious battles in 1836 when 150 Texans were killed trying to defend the stronghold.
