Bordering the Bridger-Teton National Forest, venturing into the wilderness is easy here! You can navigate the miles of trails that surround the lodge on horseback, foot, bike or four-wheeler. Day trips and longer back-country adventures are offered. Many choose to enjoy nature by fishing, hunting, or cross-country skiing.

Set along the Green River, world-class fly fishing is just outside your cabin door. Cast for rainbow, brown, cutthroat and brook trout! You can venture out on your own to area rivers and lakes, or perfect your angling skills with an experienced guide in tow. Wilderness fishing trips start at $220, and can last 3-14 days. Also available are 2-hour, half or full day fishing tours.

Kendall Valley Lodge and Mule Shoe Outfitters offer the best big game hunting in the state of Wyoming. Mule Shoe specializes in big horn sheep, mountain lion, and elk hunting, but they also conduct hunts for mule deer, antelope, moose, bobcat, and black bear. Hunting isn't always an exact science, but Mule Shoe guarantees 100 percent effort to fulfill each hunt with a quality animal. When the staff isn't hunting, they're pre-scouting and getting ready for future hunts. 85 percent of Kendall Valley Lodge's hunters are repeat visitors.
