Voss' Birchwood Lodge

One of the best parts about bringing your family to Birchwood is that you never have to worry about where you'll eat next! Breakfasts and evening dinners are served in the main lodge dining room overlooking the lake. The nearby Chalet building features a delightful luncheon room and gift shops where you will enjoy a delightful meal surrounded by northwoods memorabilia.

Manitowish Waters' chief industry is tourism, and when you visit it's easy to see why. The surrounding chain of lakes is simply glorious, ideal for any and all water-based activities. Fishing and swimming are superb, while a hike or bike along the shoreline never goes amiss!

Manitowish Lake is 496 acres of fishing bliss! Whether you choose one of the many charters in the area or just go it alone, there's plenty to keep an afternoon occupied. Voss’ is centrally located on a private bay of Spider Lake on the famous Manitowish Waters Chain of Lakes. Greer’s Pier Marina is adjacent to the Resort and there are multiple sport’s shops just a short drive from the resort! Whether you're casting your reel in search of an evening meal, or taking a tour of the area by boat, you're in for a good time at Brichwood Lodge!

The main lodge was built in 1924 and a dance hall and bar soon followed to provide entertainment to the customers who occupied the 19 cabins and 18 hotel rooms. Voss' is entering its 100th year of operation under the direction of Audrey's daughter Ruth and her grandson Christopher. the resort is now made up of 20 cabins and 6 hotel rooms.

For those guests traveling with large and extended families, Voss' Birchwood Lodge offers a variety of cabin rentals, with and without kitchens.
