Serene Shores Resort is a single cabin resort on the east shore of Scattering Rice Lake on the Eagle River Chain. Its location on the East shore offers beautiful sunsets on clear days. The cabin features two bedrooms and a full kitchen with the rustic charm of natural wood paneling. And there's plenty of activity to be found: from making maple syrup to guided fishing trips, there is an outdoor activity to suit almost any interest.

The fishing is good for musky, walleye and panfish, which at times can be caught off the resort's permanent pier. There is a sand shore line out to about a three foot depth and the remaining depths holds a mud bottom.
Scattering Rice Lake, just outside the door of your cabin, is a 263 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 17 feet.
