Historically the building is known as the Ingenhuett-Faust hotel. Designed by noted architect, Alfred Giles, built for Peter Joseph Ingenhuett. It is now called The Comfort Common. Featured in articles by magazines and major newspapers such as Travel and Leisure, Southern Living, Country Home, Texas Highways, Texas Monthly, The Houston Chronicle and The Dallas Morning News, The Comfort Common has been lovingly restored to its original grandeur.
