The High Desert Museum is less than 30 minutes from DiamondStone. One of the finest museums in the Northwest, they teach Native American and Oregon Trail history, and also have wild animal exhibits with mammals and birds of prey. It is so large that you can't see it all in a day, so they give you a two-day pass. There's a nice restaurant too!
