Island Overlook cabins are at the heart of the outdoor adventure paradise better known as McCurtain County Oklahoma! The area is famous for its clear mountain rivers and streams, deep, cold lake and literally hundreds of thousands of acres of National Forest and Wildlife Management Areas.
The fishing is outstanding in McCurtain County starting with the world class trout habitat of the Mountain Fork River. Running downstream in the Broken Bow Lake tailwaters the lower Mountain Fork River offers year round rainbow and brown trout in 14 miles of habitat with a 3.8 mile catch and release trophy stretch where all boats are banned.
