This lovely old farmhouse was built for the C.D. Taylor family in 1911. It received extensive renovation in 1987 and is now "home" to hundreds of travelers. When Chip Wilson opened her inn to the public, she chose the french symbol of hospitality - the rooster - for her personal emblem. The Taylor House is located in Valle Crucis, conveniently located near Banner Elk, Boone, Linville, and Grandfather Mountain.
