Imagine you’re about to make that long walk you’ve dreamed of a thousand times. You look down from above and see all of your family and friends gathering in the courtyard to take their seats. You hear your cue, and as your guests stand and turn, you open the door and begin your dramatic entrance down the stair. All eyes are on you. Your dreams are coming true.
The Groome Inn Bed and Breakfast, located just outside Greensboro, North Carolina, was built circa 1900 by Marvin Groome. Marvin was the youngest son of Zachariah Groome, the first Groome to settle in Guilford County. The farmhouse was purchased in 2003 by Mrs. Fred M. Groome Jr. (Jimmie) and has been beautifully remodeled to comfortably accommodate guests.
