With eight comfortable rooms, four in Paradox Lodge and four in the adjacent Cedar Lodge, you'll find comfortable and quiet lodging within the rustic interior. Enjoy dinner options like seared Maine diver scallops cooked by Chef Moses "Red" LaFountaine at Paradox Lodge's on-site restaurant or venture out into Lake Placid to sample the fare at many local restaurants. While you're out and about, take in some of the local activities. In the winter, try downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, or bobsled rides. In the summer fishing, hiking, or horseback riding are all available to you. Sightseeing excursions to the Olympic village and fantastic shopping are available year-round!

Paradox Lodge was originally built in 1899 on Paradox Bay in Lake Placid New York, and was used as a lodge in the early 50's for summer guests. It was later abandoned and left vacant for 30 years until the current owners and innkeepers purchased it in April 1998 and began the long task of renovation.
