Welcome to our log cabin on Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park. We're located 4 miles from Bar Harbor and just a mile from the park entrance. This quiet setting is the perfect spot to begin and end your day of hiking, sailing, sightseeing or just relaxing. The guesthouse is set away from the road and shares two acres with only the owner's home, greenhouse, perennial beds, deer, ducks and other wildlife. The 8x24 open porch is bathed with the early morning light. Coffee on the porch swing is a favorite.
