Ormond Plantation is the oldest French West Indies Style Creole Plantation on the Mississippi. Built before 1790 on a tract of land granted by the Spanish Governor of Louisiana, the Plantation is only partially a B&B. While well-appointed guest rooms welcome travelers, the major part of the mansion has been restored to serve as a historical and reception site.
