Strictly Bohemian, La Dauphine, Residence des Artistes is by its own description a "very laid back guest house". The century old Victorian, just four blocks from the French Quarter and located in the artsy Faubourg Marigny area, is owned by an artist/travel writer who is a native of New Orleans. With guests from all over the world, many who are visiting academics, interesting conversations are virtually assured.
