If you prefer to stay on dry land, head to the Chattahoochee National Forest for a day of horseback riding, or hike along the Appalachian Trail. Make sure to visit the Tallulah Gorge, one of Georgia's "Seven Natural Wonders," or bask in the breathtaking scenery of local waterfalls, such as the Anna Ruby double waterfall.
