The cabins are close enough to Estes Park that guests are able to enjoy all that the city and the Rocky Mountain National Park have to offer, yet secluded enough to avoid all crowds and traffic. In total there are seven all-season, pet-friendly cabins on 16 acres of pristine natural paradise. Cabins sleep between two and six people, and are filled with an insane amount of amenities, from charming decor, sparkling clean showers and bathrooms, and well-stocked kitchens. Built in the mid 1940s, the cabins have a rustic feel that will truly make you feel like part of the Rockies. The superior hospitality is just icing on the delicious cake that is Rustic River Cabins!
Besides the obvious beautiful surroundings and river fun that your family will love, make sure you spend an evening sitting by the outdoor fire pit to roast S’mores with the little (and big) kids. The lodge's beautiful deck overlooks the Big Thompson River and has plenty of tables and chairs to relax on while stargazing under the beautiful Colorado night sky.
Resting on 16 acres, Rustic River Cabins is the perfect place to get close to nature. Here, you will see majestic elk walking right around the property. In late summer and early fall, the lower meadows of Rocky Mountain National Park is also a great place to see herds of elk. There are also black bears in the area, often coming to the river to fish and drink. Make sure to take all the food you brought out of your car as soon as you arrive!
Step out of your cabin and head down the trail to the river for the opportunity to reel in some spot brown and speckled trout! On a hot day feel free to dive in to cool off or throw on your boots for some of the most exquisite fly fishing you've ever seen!

Rustic River Cabins offers travelers a choice of seven rustic cabin accommodations for your next Estes Park vacation. These cabins feature a wide selection of amenities including spacious living areas, satellite television, full kitchens/kitchenette, private deck, and even Jacuzzi tubs in a few units.
